차가 고장났다.

차가 고장났다. 정확히는 자동차에 달려있는 발전기가 고장났다.
첫 고장알림이 날라온 것은 지난 월요일이었다. 아침에 회사 주차장에 들어가려는데 삑삑 거리는 성난 경고음과 함께 "전기시스템에 이상이 있습니다."라는 메시지가 떴다. 경고음이 워낙 요란스러워서 순간 당황했지만, 5초정도 지나니 경고음이 멈추었다. 퇴근할때에는 별다른 경보가 발생하지 않았다. 집에와서 곰곰히 생각해보니, 멀쩡한 경보시스템이 그냥 울렸을리 없겠다는 생각이 들었다. 엔지니어가 경보장치를 설계할 때에는 분명 그 쓰임이 있기 때문이다. 이번에 차에서 발생시킨 경보음과 메시지 표시는 이전에 보지 못했던 강력한 경보였다. 다른 경보와 달리 "STOP" 메시지를 같이 띄웠고, 메시지 창 전체는 빨간색으로 번쩍거렸다. 분명 이 정도의 강력한 경보메시지라면 이 자동차가 머지 않아 제 기능을 할 수 없다는 의미인 것이다.
인터넷을 검색해보았다. 역시나 나와 비슷한 증상을 겪은 분들이 계셨다. 원인은 발전기(알터네이터)의 브러시가 망가진 것 때문이었다. 발전기의 브러시 부분만 고치는 것은 어려우므로 발전기 자체를 교체해야 한다. 대충 발전기 부품값을 검색해보니 신품은 30만원, 재생품은 17만원이다. 발전기를 교체하기 위해 앞 범퍼 빼고 라디에이터 빼고 에어컨 가스빼고 풀리에 걸리는 벨트도 교체해야하니 공임비도 부품값만큼 나올 것이다. 아 드디어 돈 나갈때가 됐구나.
그래서 아침에 휴가를 내고 카센터에 차를 맡겼다. 정식 서비스센터 맡기면 공임비가 비싸기 때문에 일반 정비소 몇군데에 전화를 해서 바로 수리가 가능한 가까운 곳에 맡겼다. 수리가 오늘 중에 되기를 바랐지만 내 차에 맞는 부품이 부품 대리점에 없어서 내일이 되어야 수리가 완료된다고 한다. 그냥 정식 서비스센터에 맡겨서 오늘 수리를 해야할지 고민하다가, 사장님께서 너무 친절하셔서 내일 차를 가져가기로 하고 차를 맡겼다. 그리고 차 수리를 맡긴 김에 미션오일과 연료필터 교체도 같이 부탁드렸다. 정확한 금액이 얼마나 나올지는 모르겠지만 대략 100만원 정도 수리비가 나올 것 같다.
돈이 아깝다. 하지만 어쩔 수 없다. 이 차는 2017년도 1월에 사서 오늘까지 총 15만km를 달렸다. 1년에 평균 3만km를 달렸으니 다른 차들에 비해 많은 거리를 움직인 편이다. 자동차의 일부 부품이 수명을 다한다고 해도 이상 할 것이 없다. 적어도 30만km까지 타야하는데 정비하지 않는다면 길 한가운데서 차가 멈추어 더 큰 비용을 치르게 될 수도 있다. 이렇게 생각하니 마음이 한결 편하다.

My car was broken down. To be exact, my car`s alternator was broken. Last monday, first fault alarm went off. When I went into my company parking lot in the morning, A warning message "There is someting wrong with the electric system" came up with angry warning sound. I was so embarrassed because of loud warning sound but warning message was seen for about 5 seconds. when I got off work, there was no fault alram. On reflection at home, I thought that a fault alarm could not be occured in a normal system. Because each alarm had its purpose by system engineer`s design. It was strong alarm that my car was occured that I had not seen before. Unlike other message, there was "STOP" word. The entire message page flashed red. Obviously, this meassage means the car won`t be able to drive anytime soon.
I was searching on the internet. There were people who had same symtoms as me. The cause was alternator`s brush broken. Roughly the cost of parts that I searching was 300,000won. Recycled part was 170,000won. Labor costs will be as much as cost of parst because A repair engineer will take off a front bumper, radiator and turn off a/c gas and replace the belt hang on a alternator pulley. I thought "Oh. This is the time that my money will be disapear soon..."
So I went to the car repair shop in the morning. I called and asked some repair shop that could repair my car, I found a shop near my house. but when I got it repaired, there is no parts. He said no parts in mokpo now so reparing will be completed tomorrow. but I thought about it a bit, I decided I got it repaired because repairman was very kind. and I ordered that replace mission oil and gas filter. I don`t know how much cost but roughly I guessed 1,000,000won will be charged.
I feel bad about unexpercted expenses. But there is no other way. I bought my car in jan, 2017. My car has been driven 150,000km. About 30,000km per year on average. It has a longer mileage than other cars. It is not strange that some parts of cars broken. At least, my car has to travel more than 300,000km. If I dont fix my car, I may have to pay more for my car to stop on the road. I feel at ease that thinking like this.
